USS Nimitz CVN-68

1/200 (Scratchbuilt)
The ship was built in approx. 1400 working hours in the year 2005 and with RC as well as other technical components equipped. The hull is made of GRP and the deck as well as the island from Polystyrene.
In 2007, the model was rebuilt, taking approx. 250 hours, bringing Nimitz up to her 2001 fit. Phalanx cannons, radomes and new airplanes were installed. Further, a second servo for the helm was added. Additionally, a 20 W an amplifier and two new
loudspeakers were installed.
The island with mast was completely rebuilt and lit. Contrary to the original the Nimitz, which no longer has catapults on the angled deck. For optical reasons, I did not remove them.

2007年重装，用了大约250个小时，使其达到2001年“尼米兹”号的配备。安装了矩阵火炮，雷达罩和新的舰载机。进一步，再加舵的第二伺服系统，安装20W放大器，和两个新喇叭。
带桅杆的舰岛完全重建，并加灯光。与最初的“尼米兹”号不同，在斜甲板上没有弹射器。因为视觉原因，我没有拿掉它们。
